Caravanning and camping in the region of the Lüneburger Heide is well-known, great experience and very close to the idyllic and picturesque landscape.  Stay with your caravan under old oak trees, enjoy your breakfast in quiet nature and benefit from our diverse activities for your leisure time, such as sportive and recreational facilities or even cultural events.

 

Amelinghausen has two camping sites: one is called “Zum Lopautal” and the other “Mühlenkamp”; both together have about 250 spaces for caravans and campers. Both sites are situated in the scenic valley of the small river Lopau and offer all the necessary facilities. There is also a small camping site for youth groups.

 

For those who only want to stay only  for one or two days in our area there are also an additional 100 spaces for caravans outside of the two camping sites; they are located  at the lake “Lopausee”,  in Amelinghausen, near the “Kronbergsheide”, opposite the “Waldbad” (outdoor swimming pool) and at the “Schwindebecker Heide” close to the village Schwindebeck.  Further spaces for caravans are located at different restaurants and farms.
